Terms of Service


1. Services Provided
Paradise Studio Music provides audio mastering services, including but not limited to stereo mastering, stem mastering, sequencing, and preparation for digital and physical distribution.
All services are performed to industry standards using professional monitoring environments and tools.
2. Project Acceptance

All projects are subject to approval before work begins.

The client must provide final mixes ready for mastering.

By submitting audio files, the client confirms they have the legal right to use and distribute the material.
3. File Delivery Requirements
Clients must provide:

High-resolution audio files (preferably WAV, 24-bit or higher)

Files with adequate headroom (recommended: -3 dB to -6 dB peak)

No clipping or limiting on the master bus unless discussed in advance
Incorrect or low-quality files may affect the final result. Paradise Studio Music is not responsible for issues originating in the mix.
4. Turnaround Time

Standard turnaround time is 2 business days per single. EPs and albums will be discussed.

Expedited services may be available for an additional fee.

Turnaround begins once all files and payment are received.
5. Revisions
-
2 revisions are included per track/project.
-
Additional revisions may incur extra charges.
-
Revisions do not include major mix changes; such changes may require remastering fees.
6. Payment Terms
-
Rates are provided per track, per project, or hourly depending on the agreement.

Payment is due upfront for singles. For Eps and albums half is due upfront and the remaining upon delivery.

Accepted payment methods: Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal.
Final mastered files will not be delivered until full payment is received unless otherwise agreed.
7. Cancellation Policy

If a project is canceled after work has begun, a partial fee may be retained based on work completed.
• Deposits are non-refundable.
8. Credits
The client agrees to credit the mastering engineer as follows where applicable:
“Mastered by Paradise Tone at Paradise Studio Music.”
9. File Storage & Archiving

Project files may be stored for up to 2 years.

Long-term storage is not guaranteed unless agreed upon in writing.

Clients are responsible for backing up their own files.
10. Limitation of Liability
Paradise Studio Music is not liable for:

Loss of data after file delivery
-
Errors in client-provided materials
-
Commercial outcomes of the mastered work
Liability is limited to the total cost of services rendered.
11. Intellectual Property

The client retains all rights to their music.

Paradise Studio Music retains the right to use completed work for portfolio, demonstration, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
12. Confidentiality
All client materials will be treated as confidential and will not be shared without permission, except as required for service fulfillment.
13. Agreement
By engaging services, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms of Service.
